Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy on what date will the second phase of flood recovery funding open for businesses.

Answer:

On 21 February I announced details of the support package for businesses affected by recent flooding.

As with the previous Flood Scheme these new schemes will be administered by the local councils. The councils plan to open the Enhanced Flood Support Scheme for applications early next week with the two hardship schemes in the following couple of weeks. Further details on scheme administration, including the eligibility criteria and how to apply, will be provided in the forthcoming week.
