Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for a timescale for the remaining A1 Junction upgrades between Sprucefield and Hillsborough.

Answer:

The Department has a long-term proposal for this section of the A1, which is known as the ‘M1/A1 Link at Sprucefield’ (or Sprucefield Bypass) scheme, and includes the junction at Hillsborough Roundabout.

In the interim period the Department is considering measures to improve safety along the central median of this section of the A1.
