To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for a breakdown of spend on active travel, broken down by parliamentary constituency, for each of the last 5 financial years.

Answer:

Monitoring of Active Travel spend within the Department is not broken down by parliamentary constituency.

The Member may wish to note that the active travel spend from financial years 2016/17 to 2020/21 is detailed in AQW 24320 /17-22 ( AIMS Portal (niassembly.gov.uk))

Approximately £12.9m capital and resource spend was recorded in 2021/22 and approximately £12.7million in 2022/23 against specific Departmental active travel projects and grants for councils.
