Question:
To ask the Minister of Education how he will ensure that Irish Medium Education settings have appropriate teaching and lesson resources.

Answer:

Through A Fair Start, my Department has funded an officer in Comhairle na Gaelscolaíochta (CnaG) to lead on work to provide focused support for the Irish-medium sector on a range of matters, including teaching and learning resources. My Department also funds CCEA to provide teaching and learning resources across all sectors and, for Irish-medium education, it manages this through its Irish-medium Programme Board. The Education Authority also publishes links to Irish-medium resources as they are developed via a dedicated hub.
