Question:
To ask the Minister of Health when multi-disciplinary teams will be present in all primary care settings in Northern Ireland.

Answer:

The MDT model remains the key to stabilising and strengthening vital Primary Care services to ensure they can continue to provide high quality care to our people, now and into the future.

Whilst the budget for 2024/25 has not yet been set it is expected that the overall financial position for all NI departments will remain very challenging.

My Department remains committed to the further implementation of the MDT model across Northen Ireland, and is developing a plan for rollout over the next number of years subject to the availability of the necessary recurrent funding.
