Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure whether he will request the Audit Office to conduct a review of the Planning Appeals Commission.

Answer:

I am not requesting the Audit Office to conduct a review of the Planning Appeals Commission, the sponsorship of which is the responsibility of the Department of Justice. I want to work with all partners to support and deliver an efficient and effective planning system, although that is subject to all parts of the planning system being properly funded and resourced, including the Planning Appeals Commission.
