Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister for their assessment of the Commissioner for Victims and Survivors advice to government regarding the needs of those bereaved due to Troubles-related incidents.

Answer:

We are extremely sympathetic to the issues affecting bereaved victims and survivors, and we are keen to address their needs and acknowledge the ongoing loss felt by many.

We have not yet had an opportunity to consider the Commissioner’s advice paper, but we are committed to doing so as part of the development of the new Strategy for Victims and Survivors.
