Question:
To ask the Minister of Health for his assessment of how health workers’ pay increases will be sustained in future years if money from the additional £3.3 billion deal recently agreed with the UK government is not replicated in future years.

Answer:

The Executive is united on the need to resolve public sector pay disputes and rebuild public services. To that end, we have jointly written to the Prime Minister to seek an improved financial settlement.

I will continue to make the case for much-needed additional funding for health and social care.
