Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities (i) what plans he has to make the £1 million in funds previously unspent by Sport NI available to sporting clubs and organisations; and (ii) whether this money can be used to safeguard the short-term future of the North West 200.

Answer:

As it is not possible to carry monies from one financial year into the next, the Sport NI easements were used to address other Departmental pressures in the relevant financial years.
