To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for the timescale to install the pedestrian crossing on the A2 East Circular Road, Bangor, between the Groomsport Road roundabout and the Donaghadee Road roundabout.

The installation of a new Puffin Crossing on the A2 East Circular Road, Bangor is identified in the Ards and North Down Borough Council Annual Report 2023/24 for the work to be completed during the 2024/25 financial year. The exact timing for the delivery of this scheme will be agreed in consultation with the Department’s contractor, taking into account the availability of resources and capacity.
