Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on when work will commence on the redevelopment of Lurgan train station.

Answer:

Following the approval by my Department of the Strategic Outline Case in June 2023, Translink is developing an Outline Business Case for this major project which is due to be submitted to my Department later this year.

Subject to the availability of funding and approval of appropriate business cases, and other statutory approvals, the new station should be scheduled to commence construction in the 2026/27 financial year.
