Question:
To ask the Minister of Health whether he can provide an assurance that the funding plan for the Cancer Strategy for Northern Ireland can be managed within his Department's current budget.

Answer:

Additional funding for the cancer strategy will be considered along with the many demands for extra funding across the health and social care system at this time. It is expected that the overall financial position for all NI departments will remain very challenging for 2024/25.
