To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on his consideration of the scenarios presented in the Placemaking and Active Travel Review report for the York Street Interchange project.

Answer:

Major Road schemes are an important part of the work that is delivered by my Department as we seek to reduce journey times, increase reliability and improve road safety.

In October 2022 I published a Placemaking and Active Travel Review (PATR) report on the scheme and asked my officials to carry out further work on three scenarios recommended within it. This work is expected to conclude in Spring 2024.
