Question:
To ask the Minister of Education for an update on plans by Lurgan Model Primary School to transform to integrated status.

Answer:

Development Proposal (DP) 718 which proposes that Lurgan Model Primary School will transform to Controlled Integrated status with effect from 1 September 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter, was published by the Education Authority on 14 September 2023.

The two month statutory objection period in relation to this DP ended on 21 November 2023 and the proposal is currently under consideration by the Department.
