To ask the Minister for Infrastructure how many Penalty Charge Notices have been issued by his Department in Helen’s Bay, Co. Down, over the last five years.

Answer:

There were 560 Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued in Helen’s Bay (Church Road, Fort Road, and Grey Point) between 18 February 2021 and 19 February 2024.

As per the Department’s Retention and Disposal schedule, older PCN data is not retained.

Helen’s Bay falls under the Bangor area for the reporting of PCNs. This data is regularly published through the OpenDataNI portal at https://www.opendatani.gov.uk/@department-for-infrastructure/penalty-charge-notice-data
