To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail the anticipated timeline of the offer of a pay deal to transport workers, with a view to settling the ongoing dispute and preventing further industrial action.

Answer:

Following the Executive’s agreement to allocate the Department additional resource budget of £87.8m, an additional budget allocation was provided to Translink to enable it to negotiate a 2023-24 pay award with trade unions. The unions are currently balloting their members and I await an announcement of the result.
