Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister (i) whether they will be supporting the Young Carers Covenant; and (ii) to detail how they will ensure support for young carers is built into the next Programme for Government.

Answer:

While, The Executive Office is not responsible for carers policy, we will work with all Ministers to develop an ambitious and impactful Programme for Government and will make sure that this issue is given proper consideration during that process.
