Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (i) whether progress has been made following the discovery of zebra mussels at Movanagher Fish Farm; and (ii) whether there are plans to stock the DAERA Public Angling Estate from this source in 2024.

Answer:

The presence of Zebra Mussels is still preventing the stocking of fish from Movanagher.

I will be considering options for future stocking of the Public Angling Estate, including the 2024 season, in the coming weeks.
