Question:
To ask the Minister of Education for an update on when Bright Start School Age Childcare funding will be allocated for the 2024-25 financial year.

Answer:

Decisions have not yet been taken in relation to the available budget for the 2024-2025 financial year. I appreciate that groups supported through the Bright Start School Age Childcare Grant Scheme are anxious to have an indication of next year’s budget and my Department will endeavour to provide information, as soon as is practicably possible.
