To ask the Minister of Finance to detail (i) the number of private residential properties and units that were not inhabited in each of the last five years, broken down by constituency; and (ii) the proportion of these properties that were in an uninhabitable condition.

Details on properties not inhabited is not recorded within the Land & Property Services rating system. However, the table below sets out the number of Housing Stock* properties recorded as vacant within the rating system, by District Council in each of the last five years.

As rates are payable on all domestic properties irrespective of whether the property is occupied or vacant, information provided may not reflect the actual number of vacant properties.
