Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs whether a review is taking place in relation to his Department’s Northern Ireland Food Animal Information System.

Answer:

There is no review currently taking place in relation to the Northern Ireland Food Animal Information System (NIFAIS).

As with all major projects, the NIFAIS project is subject to regular Gateway assurance assessments which are performed around key milestones. The next assessment will be scheduled prior to Stage 2 going live in 2025.
