To ask the Minister of Health to detail (i) the number of new childminders that have registered; and (ii) the number of childminders that have left the profession, in the last 12 months, broken down by Health and Social Care Trust.
Answer:
A total of 109 childminders registered with Health and Social Care Trusts in the last 12 months, while a total of 225 left the register. A breakdown of these numbers by Health and Social Care Trust is provided in the table below. Table 1.
