To ask the Minister for Communities to detail how the number of people being forced from their houses due to paramilitary intimidation is determined.

Answer:

The Department for Communities does not determine the number of people who may have left their homes because of paramilitary intimidation.

The Housing Executive will hold information for homeless presenters to it and acceptances due to intimidation, with a sub-category of ‘Intimidation – Paramilitary’. This is an operational matter for the Housing Executive.
