To ask the Minister for Infrastructure whether his Department has plans to change MOT appointments to every two years.

Answer:

I have agreed to explore with my officials the potential for biennial vehicle testing in the North. You may wish to note that a move to biennial MOT testing would require the development of primary legislation and would be subject to public consultation.
