Question:
To ask the Minister of Education whether he will introduce a program similar to the £320 million Physical Education and Sport Premium announced by the UK Education Minister, which guarantees children 60 minutes of sport and physical education each day.

Answer:

With regards to the future funding of any project, you will be aware that departments have not yet been advised of budget allocations for 2024-25. While the Department of Education has been advised of an indicative baseline for planning purposes, detailed budgetary planning and prioritisation has yet to be undertaken.
