Question:
To ask the Minister of Health for an update on the sustainability of the newly-appointed GP contract in Donaghcloney, Co. Down.

Answer:

The GP Federation were appointed as the contract holder for the Donaghcloney Practice with effect from 01 January 2024.

The GP Federation has set up a Community Interest Company specifically for the running of Donaghacloney Practice. The GP Federation as the contractor for the practice is very well placed to ensure the continued delivery of GMS services to the patients registered with the practice.
