To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail any conversations he has had with the new chair of Invest NI in relation to (i) opportunities; and (ii) proposals that exist in East Londonderry for investment and economic growth, supported by Invest NI.

Answer:

I have had several discussions with John Healy OBE, the new Chair of Invest NI, about how my priority of a regionally balanced economy will be delivered. Invest NI will have a particularly important role in achieving this, and I have tasked the Chair with ensuring that the organisation increases its focus and resources at a sub-regional level.
