Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister what work they intend to undertake during the current financial year, and in the early months of the next financial year, to deliver on the High Street Task Force's vision of sustainable city, town and villages centres which are thriving places for people to do business, socialise, shop and use public services.

Answer:

The High Streets Taskforce’s report ‘Delivering a 21st Century High Street’ was presented to former Junior Ministers in March 2022 and includes recommendations that will be of interest to a number of Departments.

It will now be for Executive colleagues to decide how they wish to take forward any findings that may touch upon their own responsibilities.
