To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister what discussions they have had with the Minister for Communities in relation to implementing the recommendations and proposals contained in the independent report of the High Street Task Force, Delivering a 21st Century High Street, published in March 2022.

Answer:

The High Streets Taskforce’s report ‘Delivering a 21st Century High Street’ was presented to former Junior Ministers in March 2022 and includes recommendations that will be of interest to a number of Departments.

It will now be for Executive colleagues to decide how they wish to take forward any findings that may touch upon their own responsibilities.
