To ask the Minister of Health when the Independent Autism Reviewer will be appointed.

Answer:

I am aware of the responsibility to appoint an Independent Autism Reviewer for Northern Ireland and acknowledge the significant role this post will bring in advocating for autistic people and their families. I have therefore asked officials to provide advice on how this appointment may now be progressed so I can consider this more fully and in a timely manner.
