To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs what inter-departmental discussions he has had in relation to the introduction of a walking strategy.

Answer:

I recognise the benefit of walking as part of my Departmental responsibilities including outdoor recreation and am committed to working on an inter-departmental basis in terms of any potential walking strategy that may emerge.
