Question:
To ask the Minister of Education whether he will ensure that contracts for counselling services in post-primary schools are renewed before they expire later this year.

Answer:

The current contract ends on 31 August 2024 and the Education Authority has plans in place to advertise a tender opportunity for the new contract in the coming weeks. It is intended that the new contract will be in place on 1 September 2024 to ensure continuity of service.
