Question:
To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 7926/22-27, whether he will commission an up to date audit of the cost of division in the education system.

Answer:

As I indicated in response to AQW 7926/22-27, since publication of the Ulster Economic Policy Centre audit in 2016, the Executive commissioned the Independent Review of Education.

The Panel’s recommendations are extensive and embrace all aspects of the education system and as previously advised, it is my intention to consider them when my officials have completed their review.

Consequently, I do not intend to commission such an audit at this time.
