Question:
To ask the Minister of Health for an update on the implementation of the recommendations made in the 2023 report Independent Review into Children’s Social Care in Northern Ireland.

Answer:

The report of the Independent Review of Children’s Social Care Services was published in June 2023 and a public consultation on 49 of 53 recommendations ran for 12 weeks between September and December 2023. Work to analyse consultation responses is underway and it is hoped that this will be completed by mid-late March.
