Question:
To ask the Minister of Health for an update on progress on a regional endometriosis support centre.

Answer:

As you may be aware, my Department recently launched the Women’s Health Action Plan for Northern Ireland and we have also published the Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) Report for Gynaecology – this signals our commitment to working towards improving services for women which includes those suffering from endometriosis.

It is our intention to progress the development of Endometriosis Service in the context of the GIRFT implementation plan which will be developed in the coming months.
