To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to outline their plans to introduce stand-alone age discrimination legislation for accessing of goods, services and facilities.

Answer:

Consideration of extending age discrimination legislation to the provision of goods, facilities and services was the subject of consultations in a previous mandate. A decision was not made in respect of the scope of that legislation. The issue requires further work to inform the potential scope of any legislation.
