To ask the Minister of Health how the handover of relationship and sexuality education commissioning from the Public Health Agency to the Department of Education will be handled to ensure there are no gaps in provision.

Answer:

There is no planned handover of Relationships and Sexuality Education commissioning from the Public Health Agency to the Department of Education. The Department of Education has responsibility for education within schools, whereas the Public Health Agency currently commissions Relationships and Sexuality Education in the community.
