Question:
To ask the Minister of Education for an update on the implementation of the Children and Young People Strategy.

Answer:

Implementation of the Executive Children and Young People’s Strategy (CYPS) is the responsibility of all departments.

My department coordinates monitoring and reporting on the strategy and has recently establishment a Monitoring and Reporting Board, comprising senior officials from across all departments. The Board will promote greater collaboration and provide strategic direction on key policy issues affecting children and young people which require significant coordinated effort.
