To ask the Minister for Communities, following comments by the Speaker at the conclusion of Question Time on 12 March 2024, whether he will supply the information requested in AQW 6154/22-27.

Answer:

This issue is an operational matter for the Housing Executive. I understand that you have already sought and received the information you requested in AQW 6154/22-27 directly from the Chief Executive on the 6 March and 17 April 2024.The Chief Executive advised of the following:

“There are 7,236 people currently in receipt of a Discretionary Housing Payment, with 121 of those in receipt of a Discretionary Housing Payment for more than two years.”
