Question:
To ask the Minister of Health what decisions he has made since returning to office in February 2024 about the implementation of the proposals to reconfigure stroke care.

Answer:

Since returning to office, I have been updated on progress on the delivery of the priorities outlined in the Stroke Action Plan. This included progress on the reconfiguration of stroke services which is led by the Hyperacute Stroke Project Board.

At this stage no decisions have been required and my Officials continue to work to deliver the Action Plan priorities. It should be noted, however, that the pace of delivery continues to be impacted by funding constraints.
