Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities for an update on the redevelopment of Banbridge Public Library.

Answer:

Supported by the Department, Libraries NI acquired a potential development site in 2021/22 for a new library facility in Banbridge. Libraries NI has advised that the site acquisition is one step in a process and that a business case supporting the proposed redevelopment will be drafted in due course and submitted for consideration by the Department. Libraries NI has no definitive timescale for the development of the business case.
