Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance when she will make a decision on the Non-teaching Staff Pay and Grading Review Business Case.

Answer:

A revised business case for this has been submitted by the Department for Education, and my Department is currently carrying out its scrutiny of this.

Given the implications that the proposals will have for recurrent costs going forward, it is right and proper that DoF carries out the scrutiny required to allow it to make an informed decision.

My officials are working at pace with their colleagues in the Department of Education to progress this scrutiny and reach a decision point.
