Question:
To ask the Minister of Health when he plans to bring the Northern Health and Social Care Trust in line with other Health and Social Care Trusts by implementing the Acute Care at Home Service for Older People.

Answer:

In March 2022, my Department published the Review of Urgent and

Emergency Care. Under the recommendations of the review, a Task and Finish group was established, through an Intermediate care sub-group to examine the current challenges regarding hospital at home services, particularly how to ensure consistency of approach and outcomes of a high performing model. The outworkings of this group are at the later stages and a final report will be submitted to the Chief Nursing Office, as lead sponsor.
