To ask the Minister for the Economy what engagement he has had with businesses in relation to their support for providing the high-quality, accessible and affordable childcare to support an increase in foreign direct investment and new job opportunities.

Answer:

I have met and continue to engage with a number of Business Organisations on the importance of affordable childcare and how it will support the local economy and contribute to improved productivity.
