To ask the Minister of Health whether he has considered moving from annual inspections of childminders to inspections every three years, similar to Scotland and Wales, as part of the review of Minimum Standards for Childminding and Day Care.

Answer:

As part of the review of the Minimum Standards for Childminding and Day Care, which will commence in the coming months, we will consider the frequency of inspections.
