To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister what work they are undertaking to address age discrimination, particularly as it concerns the provision of goods and services.

Answer:

Consideration of extending age discrimination legislation to the provision of goods, facilities and services was the subject of consultations in a previous mandate. A decision was not made in respect of the scope of that legislation. Officials will commence a review of the work previously undertaken to inform advice to Ministers around possible next steps and the potential scope of any legislation.
