To ask the Minister of Health for his plans to appoint a chief psychological officer.

Answer:

The creation of a Chief Psychological Professions Officer within the Department is still under consideration as part of the wider Mental Health workforce review. My Department will continue to work closely with psychology professions working in the HSC and with relevant representative bodies.
