Question:
To ask the Minister of Education for an update on the implementation of A Fair Start programme for improving educational underachievement.

Answer:

Progress in respect of the forty-six actions taken forward in the 2023/24 financial year has been good despite the significant budget constraints faced by the education sector as a whole.

I am currently reviewing the fifth “A Fair Start” progress report and this will be published when Executive colleagues have had an opportunity to consider it.
