Question:
To ask the Minister of Health, pursuant to AQW 6860/22-27, (i) when he expects to make a decision on funding for the Core Grant Scheme; (ii) what options he is considering in relation to funding for the Core Grant Scheme; and (iii) for details of his Department's Equality Impact Assessment regarding the options for the Core Grant Scheme.

Answer:

I will be making a decision on the Core Grant Scheme in the coming weeks. My Department’s budget assessment has already made it clear that the challenging allocation for Health this year will require difficult decisions to be taken, including in relation to funding for the Community and Voluntary Sector.

Early responses to the Department’s Equality Impact Assessment will be considered in making budget decisions.
