Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail the planned works for Ballyclare town to alleviate the impacts of flooding.

Answer:

To alleviate the risk of flooding from watercourse culvert screen blockage, my Department has planned work to install a remote monitoring system to a culvert screen adjacent to Green Road, Ballyclare and will also continue to undertake cyclical inspection and, as necessary, maintenance works on any designated watercourses and their associated infrastructure. In addition, my Department will continue to carry out routine cleaning of gullies in and around Ballyclare town centre.
